Michelle is the Head of Private Client for DJF Solicitors and a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) with over 8 years of specialist experience, managing and supporting a team of highly qualified and experienced Private Client specialists across our offices. Michelle advises clients on all aspects of will writing, estate planning, trust matters, and estate administration, providing clear, practical guidance tailored to each client's individual circumstances. Her expertise combines technical legal knowledge with a compassionate and client-focused approach, helping individuals and families plan for the future with confidence. She acts as professional Attorney and Trustee to clients where needed, supporting them on a daily basis in managing their financial affairs, and heads our specialist Court of Protection team based in London where we are panel appointed deputies for multiple clients. Michelle's previous experience includes owning and operating a specialist brain injury case management company, where she worked closely with individuals with acquired and traumatic brain injuries and their support networks. In addition to her legal expertise, she has held a variety of management and professional roles, developing significant experience in business leadership, human resources management, and client advocacy. Michelle is also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, a member of Headway, and has previous NHS experience. She is passionate about promoting the best interests of her clients, protecting vulnerable individuals, and ensuring their voices are heard. Her unique combination of legal expertise, healthcare insight, and management experience enables her to provide practical, holistic approach to clients navigating complex and often sensitive situations.
