Ebun Braithwaite was admitted as a solicitor in 2001 and leads the Real Estate Team at TBLP. Ebun holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Cardiff and an LLM in Property and International Law from the University of Reading and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1996. Ebun began her career in litigation practice and gained invaluable experience and exposure assisting on high profile matters at leading international law firms, including Mishcon de Reya, Ashurst Morris Crisp, and Herbert Smith. Ebun’s property law practice is wide ranging and spans almost 30 years across jurisdictions. Her public sector work includes working with local authorities in the UK, as well as advising the Lagos State Government on its urban planning and development legislation. Ebun has represented private investors, developers, and institutional lenders on property acquisitions, financing and asset management matters across Africa and Europe. Ebun’s real estate practice has a particular focus on foreign investors entering the UK property market and provides her clients with advice on all aspects of the conveyancing process
