Private Client Solicitor

Key Responsibilites
Fee Earning Work – Drafting and Advising on Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Trust Registration Scheme.
Estate Administration – Managing the administration of estates from initial instruction to finalisation, including application for Grant of Probate and other related estate matters.
Inheritance Tax – Advising on tax implications and estate planning.
Client relations – Maintain and develop relationships with clients, providing clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients.
Financial Targets – Achieve set financial targets and KPI’s.
Compliance – Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations including company policies and procedures.
Collaboration – Work closely with and cross refer where possible to other departments. Develop and maintain working relationships with third parties.
Department Growth – Participate in the growth of the department including building the client base and contribute to further marketing and business development activities.
Legal Knowledge – Keep knowledge and CPD up to date in line with practising requirements.
About You
Experience – 2 years PQE in Private Client and of managing own workload. Experience with LEAP legal software an advantage. Candidate must be able to carry out work independently.
Skills – Excellent interpersonal skills, prioritising, planning, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage a busy workload.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as occasional travel to nearby offices may be required.
